With a passion for baking and a labor of love Sweetness Bakeshop came to be! It is the creation of Yamile, Eli, Stephanie, Danny, & JC. This family owned & operated bakeshop opened in March of 2010 in South Miami, in December of 2010, Sugar Rush, South Florida’s first dessert truck was born, and in July 2013, a second Sweetness Bakeshop opened in Hialeah.
We use the finest quality ingredients such as Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, 100% natural flavorings, whipping cream, buttermilk, whole milk, pure cane sugars, whole grain flours, fresh fruits, and the best chocolates from around the world. Our cakes, cupcakes and assorted goodies are baked from scratch; our buttercream is a light shade of yellow, showing the use of only the creamiest butter, never settling for vegetable shortening. Signature desserts such as Maple Bacon Cupcakes, Guava & Passion Fruit Flan, and Key Lime Dessert Shots support an ever-changing menu that also includes limited-edition & seasonal flavors.
Sweetness has been acclaimed by Food and Wine Magazine as having one of the Nation’s Best New Cupcakes, as well as named Miami’s Best Bakery by the Miami New Times.
