This year, we paired our delicious cupcakes with some delicious craft beers and came out with some pretty amazing cupcake flavors!

Dad is sure to feel like a southern gentleman with our Southern Pecan cupcake – we combined our butter pecan cake with Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company’s Southern Pecan Brown Ale, and topped it off with brown butter buttercream & a candied pecan.

If Dad is more of a Sweet & Salty type of guy, our Oatmeal Stout won’t disappoint! We took our chocolate cake & combined it with Breckenridge Brewery’s Oatmeal Stout, then we filled the cupcake with espresso chocolate ganache, and topped it all off with salted caramel buttercream and pretzel crunch.

In addition to the above mentioned flavors, we’ll also have Maple Bacon, Thrilla In Vanilla, Guayabera, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Cubed, Red Velvet, Vanilla <3 Chocolate, & Chocolate <3 Vanilla

These flavors will be available Saturday, June 15th & Sunday, June 16th – Preordering is highly recommended!

Happy Birthday to Sweetness! March 11th marked 3 sweet years for us! We feel totally blessed to be in this industry, to be doing what we love every single day, to be filling your tummies with all the Sweetness we can conjure up, to be a part of all your special events…birthdays, bridal showers, weddings, baby showers, baptisms, communions, etc!

When we would sit in our home kitchen perfecting our recipes, worrying about finding the perfect shades of teal and brown for our colors, creating our image and brand, scouting potential locations…we never imagined 3 years later we would be where we are today, with a huge following, our customers, or as we like to say, our extended family! We thank YOU all for our success, for continuing to inspire us to create something new, you’re what pushes us during those 2am wake-up calls, what keeps us going when our arms are sore from scooping so many cupcakes, thank you for being a part of our dream!

2013 is going to be a big year for the Sweetness family, that means you too! so stay tuned for some exciting announcements!

This year’s flavors have SPRING written all over them, filled with fresh fruit, delectable fillings, and indulgent frosting!

We start off our week on Tuesday with Easter Basket. Moist coconut cupcake, filled with fresh raspberry filling, topped off with white chocolate buttercream, then rolled in toasted coconut & topped with jelly beans.

Wednesday plays host to our ever popular Cadbury Creme. Chocolate cupcake filled with house-made cadbury creme topped with cream cheese frosting & a mini cadbury egg.

Thursday features Funny Bunny, a chocolate cupcake, filled with house-made caramel, topped with marshmallow buttercream and a marshmallow bunny.

Friday features Cotton Tail fresh banana cake, filled with pineapple confit, topped with coconut buttercream & shredded coconut.

We cap off the week on Saturday where you can have ALL of the above mentioned flavors (we are closed on Easter Sunday). As always, we recommend pre-ordering as we usually sell out quickly, especially on major holidays.

This year, we brought back our ever so popular Irish Car Bomb. The ICB is a chocolate Guinness cake, filled with a rich & decadent Jameson Whiskey chocolate ganache, topped off with a Bailey’s Irish Cream buttercream, and some chocolate sprinkles.

We’re also bringing back Feelin’ Lucky! for the kid in all of us, this flavor is an homage to the childhood favorite cereal Lucky Charms. This cake is a green vanilla cake, topped with marshmallow buttercream, rolled in lucky charms cereal.

Lastly, we’re bringing in a new contender…Pot of Gold. It could best be described as a combination of the ICB and another best seller Dulce Leche. We’ve gone with a chocolate Guinness cake, filled with a deliciously creamy Jameson Whiskey dulce leche, topped with a Bailey’s infused dulce leche buttercream.

In addition to the above mentioned flavors, we’ll also have our house flavors available dressed up in  St. Patty’s sprinkles!

Almost forgot! We’ll also have Lucky Charms cereal treats, and booze infused doughnuts!

We used red floor length linens and some All American bunting to give the table an “All Star Game” feel. Instead of using traditional cake plates, we used boxes wrapped in coordinating wrapping paper which made for easy cleanup. The paper pennants were also created by Sweetness which read “Sweet Spot”. We also printed some of our favorite baseball players onto card stock and applied them to the walls using sticky tack.

Small buckets filled with salted peanuts and mini pennants were scattered all around the venue, not only as center pieces but as snacks for the guests to enjoy!

Bat Centerpieces

Our centerpieces were made up of a home-plate, worn out baseballs, and three plastic bats painted to look like wooden bats.

Is it cake?

The cake is the staple of any dessert table, however, we were offering our guests so many other desserts we decided to make a faux cake just to carry the theme across. The cake had a traditional baseball feel, with some stadium food added such as pretzels, peanuts, bubble gum, and popcorn!

Cupcakes & More

We had Guayabera, Thrilla In Vanilla, Red Velvet, Maple Bacon, and Chocolate <3 Vanilla mini cupcakes decorated with baseballs and red and blue stars with the baby’s initials. We also had homemade marshmallows dipped in chocolate, and browned butter rice krispy treats.

Our G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) cookies made a guest appearance, along with some baseball decorated sugar cookies.
