Custom cake pricing start at $3.00 a serving for buttercream cakes. Pricing starts at $3.50 a serving for any fondant cakes. Any intricate designs, fillings, decorations, etc. will increase the price of your cake per serving. Each cake is priced on a per cake basis. The most accurate way for us to give you a price on a custom cake would be for you to drop by our store for a consultation, there we could discuss your ideas, and how many people you need it to serve. Consults must be scheduled in advance, and are available on Wednesday’s & Sunday’s.

No, your order is not confirmed until you have placed a deposit.

Please contact our store for delivery rates. We strongly recommend having your cake delivered to your event. After set-up at your event is complete, Sweetness will not be responsible for any mishandling of your cake or cupcakes, including but not limited to: temperature, bumping, scraping, touching, moving, etc. In the case of an unavoidable occurrence such as a car accident or poor road conditions during delivery, Sweetness cannot be held liable for more than the price of the item described in your order. If you must pick-up your order, Sweetness will have it placed in a box for transport. Once the cake has left our premises, we are no longer responsible for any wrongdoing.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, & Cash. An initial deposit (25% for cakes $100 or less & 50% for cakes of $100 or more) of your total cake cost (cake cost, delivery/set-up and other applicable fees) are due when you place your order. The balance of your total cake cost is due no later than 1 week prior to your event date. Any cake ordered within two (2) weeks of your event requires payment in full.

We prefer to receive 14 days notice prior to a custom cake order; however, we’re generally able to accommodate custom cake orders 72 hours before needed. Please contact our store if you need a cake rushed or are unsure if you’ve ordered in time!

Cancellations are only accepted two (2) weeks prior to the date of your event. Sweetness will keep the initial deposit for having reserved the date of your event. All refunds can be picked up at Sweetness Bakeshop within two (2) weeks of cancellation. No monies will be refunded if your order is cancelled with less than two (2) weeks until your event. Changes to your cake order will be accepted two (2) weeks or more prior to your event date. After this date, no changes can be made to the items agreed upon. Any materials (photos, designs, ribbons, color schemes, etc.) must be received two (2) weeks or more prior to your event.

Sweetness will not be responsible for any non-edible items (silk flowers, pearls, ribbons, etc.) placed on your cake. All non-edible items are to be provided by you; we will gladly decorate and place these items on your cake as you wish, however it is your responsibility to remove them before the cake is consumed.

Colors cannot be guaranteed unless we are provided with a color swatch, we will make every effort to match swatches of material or other color examples you provide as closely as possible, however, some colors simply cannot be recreated in frosting & may not be a perfect match.

Our tastings are by appointment only and include samplings of our most popular flavors, if you can’t wait for a formal tasting, we recommend purchasing an assorted box of mini cupcakes.

We will not accept an order for a custom cake over the phone unless a consult was done previously. To schedule a consult, please make an appointment by calling the store at 305-271-7791. Consults are only available Wednesday’s & Sunday’s.
