A Flavorful Injection to South Florida Economic and Food Truck Scene

Miami, FL –August 30, 2011 – The phenomena of food trucks rolls on in South Florida as Sugar Rush, South Florida’s first dessert truck, debuts its second food truck.

This October, Sugar Rush’s second food truck delivers an unparalleled dessert experience that expands their unique brand of family fun and community involvement. Sugar Rush #2 will feature its exciting expanded menu at locations throughout South Florida and give Sugar Rush the ability to meet the insatiable demand for its catering and private event services. Leading this latest sugar-laced endeavor is Stephanie Diaz-Perez, Sugar Rush’s Chief Executive Officer and the creative force for much of the expanded offerings that will become new staples of the second Sugar Rush truck.

Last night, Sweetness Bakeshop participated in a once in a life time experience, especially if you’re a sports fan! We were asked to provide a dessert spread for the Miami Heat’s Miami In The Heat Casino Night, for the Miami Heat organization and their 1,000 season ticket holders. The American Airlines Arena played host to casino games, carnival acts, live performances, music by DJ Irie & Terrel Carter, and of course appearances by the Miami Heat Players & Coaching Staff.
